Buying at the auction:
Auctions are an efficient way to buy almost anything! Popular auction items include firearms, ammunition, coins, jewelry, vintage & antique items, unusual items, hunting, camping, fishing, outdoors, and collections of all kinds. Brand Used Works LLC. often liquidates the contents of businesses as well, including equipment, rolling stock, furniture, fixtures, and assets.
With an average of more than 25 online and live auctions each year, Brand Used Works Auction House attracts buyers with a wide range of interests and collections. On your first visit to Brand Used Works LLC., new bidders are asked to complete a ‘registration form’ that helps us contact you about upcoming auctions in your areas of interest. We will add your email address to our marketing newsletter to notify you of upcoming events.
Each week bidders register online or over the telephone to bid on any item in the current auction. Auctions are available for preview online usually two weeks in advance on our website with full pictures and descriptions of each lot and absentee bids can be submitted for items in those auctions.
We also welcome absentee, and live online webcast bidding at our auctions. We also accept online pre-bids.
Each auction varies by demand on how many live webcast platforms we use for each event, Brand Used Works is a certified operator for Proxibid, Auctionzip, Invaluable, Live auctioneers, Icollector, and Bid spotter.
First Timer Tips:
*Auction Day*
When you Log on to our website, Please choose which platform you would like to bid on, Hibid/AuctionFlex is our direct site. Follow the prompts with credit card info, Contact info and the address we will use to ship to. Once complete you will be in our system and ready to bid now and in the future.
Preview Items
At most auctions, items are sold “as is – where is.” Therefore it is important to preview items before the auction and determine quality and condition so you will not be disappointed after buying.
Premiums
A Buyer’s Premium of 15% of the “hammer price” for auctions will be added to each purchase to reach the total sales price. Online Webcast Bidders will be charged a total Buyer’s Premium of 15%, The total sales price is subject to applicable sales tax. We do not charge extra for using a credit card.
Disputes
The highest bidder is the buyer. If any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auctioneer will decide the buyer or immediately put the item up for sale again.
Online Buyers
For online buyers we pack and ship your order in house, generally within 72 hours of receiving your payment and FFL info if applicable.
Bid Early
Auction bidding is not something to be afraid of. You will not buy accidentally by scratching your nose; the auctioneer knows when you are bidding seriously. On the other hand, don’t wait too long if you want an item – get your bid in early so the auctioneer has the bid before the item is sold.
Sales Records
The record of sale kept by the auctioneer and clerk will be taken as absolute and final in all disputes.
